Sampling Activity of Johnson & Johnson’s, June-2014

The Sampling and Promotions Company recently worked on Johnson & Johnson’s Clean & Clear face wash sampling in the city of Delhi.


Our first step was to understand the target audience and households of which localities we needed to mark.


Along with the client and the BPCL team we selected 4 localities in Delhi for the sampling exercise.


J&J created a special sample pack with an attractive offer that was to be given to the target customers.


The dealer and their team were briefed on the product and profile of the Target Audience. They were given a waist pouch in which the samples could be carried ensuring a clean interface between the sample and the customer.


The entire operation was controlled and monitored by our field officer and the concerned BPCL Territory Managers.


Depending on the orders received, the delivery boys would carry the samples and get an acknowledgement from the customer for the delivery of the sample.


These POD’s were scrutinized and random calls were made to validate the deliveries. 95% of the customers confirmed in receipt of the sample.


Losses were less than 3% of samples received.


The entire exercise was completed within 15 days.
